Africa Film and Television Talent Training Institute (AFTTTI) is a private TVET institution dedicated to offering curriculum driven, comprehensive and practical oriented marketing and media entertainment related training programs. AFTTTI is accredited to the internationally recognized ICM (UK) examination body as an ICM approved centre. We offer courses at certificate and diploma levels.
On one end, our tactical training affords our students an opportunity to not only improve their film making and Acting skills but also presents them with unique opportunities for exposing themselves on both the behind and in front of the camera experiences as film directors so as to be able to direct themselves even as actors.
On the other end, to meet the evolving needs for effective and integrated content marketing for organizations , Afttti also offers marketing programs that are designed to equip our learners with relevant and professional sales, marketing, advertising and public relations skills.

This institute has taught me the practicalities of a creative and technical storyteller. From development all the way to the distribution of a project. The hands-on approach has really helped cultivate my perspective on the intricate exertions that are required to make something out of myself in the Film & TV industry. I'm forever grateful for the staff that took their time to teach and mentor me during and after my course. I don't regret the genesis of my journey there and the new perspective and values that I acquired at my terminus.
Since joining AFTTTI I have learnt a lot in Film Production. The institution does not only offer theory lessons but practical and it has sufficient equipment. I had the chance to develop ideas and engage in pre-production, production and post production. In my fourth semester, I shot a short film in Nanyuki for a class project which was nominated for the Kalasha Awards Festival. I am grateful to AFTTTI for offering me with a multidisciplinary and multicultural learning environment with high quality facilities and dedicated lecturers. Undoubtedly, the knowledge I have acquired from AFTTTI is useful for my career.
Africa Film and TV Talent Training Institute has been one of the biggest blessings in my life. In form three I realized my dream in acting and AFTTTI was the perfect fit. I joined the school to pursue my Acting dream. Every class has been enjoyable and the lecturers are compassionate and dedicated.AFTTTI made me a better person especially in acting due to the practicality element employed. Through the institution, I have acted alongside Pascal Tikodi, an actor I admired. AFTTTI gives you a direct lee way into the media industry.I explored my talent in AFTTTI and I am proud to have been part of this beautiful family.
Having a long history with AFTTTI makes me consider this school the best in Kenya. My journey of Film and Tv Production started back in 2016 when I joined this school for the first time. Teaching methods and staff's friendliness exceeded my expectations. It is at AFTTTI that I sharpened and enhanced my skills in Scripting and Content Creation, Costume Design and Make-up Producing, & Art and Production. Through the skills I gained at Afttti, I have had the privilege to work with various production houses in their different departments. I am currently in Contract with Kirinyaga Central for a legal transcription project under the Judiciary and Part-time running my makeup business. AFTTTI took part in raising me to be who I am today in the creative industry and in the realization of my dreams.
Through AFTTTI have been able to become a creative and dedicated Cinematographer and Photographer. Adept at handling a high volume of simultaneous tasks with ease and accuracy. I'm currently working on a diverse range of projects; working as Freelance street and documentary photographer. (got selected twice by AfricanArt Incontext early this year during the COVID photography campany), Currently working with a visual Radio show by the name Sema Radio as a producer and content creator with a clean and elegant aesthetic. To me AFTTTI was not only my knowledge base but a home with lecturers as my parents and my fellow students as my siblings, all under God's protection.
Being in the acting industry, is a dream come true. Whether its on stage or before a camera, it's fulfilling to see myself on this journey as I evolve in my career. AFTTTI became my second home and stepping stone to this journey. I learnt alot from my lecturers, doing projects in school and interning which opened a gateway of opportunities for me. I am grateful for the time and opportunity they took to nuture my skills and I look forward to conquer this industry.
I joined african film and talent training institute in the year 2019 and that was when my career in film and tv production kicked off.it has been a great experience all through my 2 year course period after afttti gained skills to open my own production company(jasafilmworks) which is growing at a very high rate plus I've secured several contracts with different companies life is good thanks to afttti. AFFTTTI is and will always be a home of excellence.
